As the winter months approach, Lake Mountain Alpine Resort is gearing up for its highly anticipated 2025 snow season, scheduled to commence in June 2025. Known for its stunning landscapes and robust winter sports offerings, the resort is preparing to welcome snow lovers from all around.
"We are excited to announce the upcoming snow season, which promises an array of activities for visitors to enjoy," said Resort Manager, Jamie Thompson. This year's offerings will include various winter sports such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding, which cater to both seasoned athletes and families looking for fun.
In terms of logistics, the resort has released essential information regarding snow gear rental and admission passes. "Our snow gear hire service will be available right from the start of the season, ensuring our guests have everything they need for a great day on the snow," Thompson remarked. Guests will have a range of equipment from skis to snowboards available to them for rental.
Additionally, entry to the resort has been structured to accommodate various budgets. As Thompson explained, "We aim to make our resort accessible to everyone, hence we have different pricing tiers for entry passes to suit all visitors."
Cross-country ski trails are a major highlight at Lake Mountain, and enthusiasts can look forward to an expansive network of trails that suit varying skill levels. "Our trails are designed to provide everyone with an enjoyable experience, whether they’re just getting started or they’re seasoned pros," noted Ski Trail Coordinator, Linda Hughes.
In addition to winter activities, the resort is also focusing on the overall visitor experience. "We want to ensure that guests enjoy their time at Lake Mountain beyond just skiing. This includes amenities and services that enhance the overall experience," stated Hughes. With the addition of improved facilities and dining options, the resort aims to create a welcoming environment for all.
While the snow isn’t expected to fall until the opening in June, other activities are already in full swing, such as mountain biking and bushwalking. "Our summer activities are a great way to stay active before the skiing season kicks off," said local guide, Steve Roberts. The Cascades MTB shuttles have recently become operational, offering biking enthusiasts an excellent means of exploring the area's natural beauty.
"MTB shuttles will be finishing on Sunday, April 27th, 2025, so it’s important for riders to take advantage of this service while they can," Roberts added, emphasizing the fleeting opportunity for mountain biking during the lead-up to the snow season.
For those who have inquiries about the upcoming season, the resort provides a comprehensive FAQ section on its website, intended to address any questions regarding snow conditions, equipment rental, and resort services.
"Our goal is to ensure our guests are informed and excited for the season, as we strive to provide a memorable experience for everyone visiting Lake Mountain," said Thompson. With the team at the resort working diligently towards a great winter season, visitors can expect a well-rounded experience once the snow starts to fall.
As we look ahead to 2025, the Lake Mountain Alpine Resort is dedicated to fostering an environment that combines adventure with relaxation. As Hughes concluded, "We’re ready to create unforgettable moments on the snow and can’t wait to welcome guests to Lake Mountain."
In short, the 2025 snow season is positioned to be an exciting time for Lake Mountain alpine enthusiasts, with a strong lineup of activities and a focus on accessibility for all. Whether you're a veteran skier or trying winter sports for the first time, the resort offers something for everyone, calling for visitors to mark their calendars for the season launch in June.
